For those of you 'in the know,' Flat Stanley is a project given to children in grade school. Stanley became flattened when a bulletin board fell on him and he is now able to travel in the mail to places far and wide. When a child sends him to a friend or relative it is usually along with a letter requesting stories and maybe photos be returned of his adventures.
I received my friend, Flat Stanley, from my nephew Devan in Massachusetts earlier this week. This afternoon Flat Stanley visited Cronan Ranch Park in the Sierra Foothills for a bit of paragliding. Uncle Jason and Flat Stanley topped out on this fine Spring day at about 1,500' over our little 200' hill. He seemed to enjoy the view from above :).
